Noida: The whole film city was full of excitement, the parking lots were full, the decoration could be seen from far off, people were moving in colourful and designer’s clothes to showoff and to gain attention: yes we are here at the inauguration of 6th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2022 at Marwah Studios, the most popular place of Noida Film City.
We are back again. Fashion never dies. Now you are associated with one of the most glamorous events of this part of the country, full of creativity, colours, excitement, knowledge and activities. 700 garments, 200 designers, 90 rounds, 60 countries, 9 major shows, 5 exhibitions in 3 days full of entertainment. You all are most welcome to the greatest extravaganza of AAFT School of Fashion and design,” said Sandeep Marwah President of 6th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2022.

Never seen so much of presentation by the young dynamic designers educated and trained by one single organisation in a single event. I extend my heartiest congratulations to one and all. I am also waiting for the show influenced by the Malaysian culture,” expressed H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.
“It can be difficult to articulate the power of style and fashion through words, that is the reason we have these fashion weeks. I am amazed to see the massive response to the fashion week, which is attracting people from all over India and abroad even at the time of pandemic. I am eager to see the show. Thank you for projecting dresses from Peru,” said Monica Cecilia Campos Fernandez Deputy Head of the Mission Peru.

Coffee Table Book Launch by the dignities prepared by Vaibhi Dhawan student of Fashion Communication of AAFT. Chirag Nagpal projected the garments influenced by the culture of Papua New Guinea, Shivangi Raghav & Ravi from Malaysia, Sambhavi Jha displayed the garments from Peru, Anshika Jindal & Manav covered Iran, Md. Saif touched Germany, Arushika Shah, Nabiya Sameer & Tanvi showed up with country of Comoros during the first session.

Nagpur based Label Pearl and Hariom showcased Cassava collection at recently held Lakme Fashion Week. The collection was all about nature and natural elements that were present in the form of material and design language. The Bamboo fabrics were used in the said collection and collection had insertions of natural elements such as insects. the collection was made according to the ongoing summer season hence lightweight material and shades were the choices made by the designer. Actors Sahil Anand and Dheeraj Dhooper walked along with the designers.
When asked about experience young designer pearl said “ I was elated as well as nervous as this is the first time I have showcased my collection at the runway ”. The central idea behind the collection was to keep it easy-breezy, multi-functional and modern keeping in mind the essence of tradition and blending it carefully with modernity.

Rio Kids Fashion Week is a National level pageant for Girls and Boys from 3 to 14 years.
The audition for the event happened in Bangalore central Mall Residency road. Post-audition, they conducted grooming sessions for the contestants by the professional team of experts. And finally conducted a grand finale at Elements Mall, – Bengaluru on 30th June 2019. The event was all about innocence and chirpiness, confidence bundled with talent. Nikita has vast background of manufacturing and fashion management. Her designs are brief presentation of India’s diversified collection and tales of weavers. The show was directed by Indian Fashion Show director Mr. Lokesh Sharma. Designer coordination and backstage was managed by Mr. Swagat Ranjan. The colour Palette used for the creation were bright red carpet ready colours such as red, black, silver, shades of wine and dark green.
Our artist, handloom, paintings are known all around globe, through my designs I am giving my bit to the global audience. And presenting them in international platform like India Fashion Week London was an overwhelming experience for me, said Nikita while exhibiting her thoughts on participation.
